Welcome.
People may seek counselling for all sorts of reasons; whether it's for help with life's emotional wear and tear or because of deep distress. Counselling is an opportunity to explore any worries or concerns that are important to you.
Talking, in confidence, to a therapist about your thoughts and feelings, in a safe and calm setting, can help you to make sense of your emotions, actions and your choices. It can facilitate personal growth, perspective, unlock your full potential and to help you develop ways of dealing with challenges/difficulties in your life.
It is important to find the right counsellor; someone who feels like a 'good fit' for you. I offer a no-charge, no-obligation introductory meeting of up to half an hour.
I am a fully qualified, experienced counsellor and a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. I have an Advanced Diploma in Integrated Counselling from the Iron Mill College in Exeter and over 20 years experience of working in the field of mental health and well-being.
I offer face to face counselling in a safe, comfortable and confidential setting at the Seale Hayne Campus near Newton Abbot. I am also able to offer sessions via zoom or over the phone. I work with adults in a one to one setting.
I am an integrative, humanist therapist. This means that I can work in a variety of ways to suit each individual client, focusing on what’s important to you and at a pace that suits you. We can work together to explore issues and aim towards a deeper understanding of yourself and your world.
Supervision.
I am passionate about supporting my fellow therapists and helping professionals by offering high quality, relational, and restorative supervision; facilitating growth and development towards their full potential.
